Homestay/Cultural/Student package
Daima Tours and Travel understands that when studying or traveling abroad, sometimes the most affordable and rewarding experiences can be found in a homestay. A homestay allows you to stay with a family in your host country and can allow you to learn the countries language much quicker and experience what "real life" is like in your host country. Most of our homestay packages provides you with an opportunity to understand new culture from your host family, establish new social relationships with people from diffrent country(s) and increase your understanding of global issues. Based on our knowledge, experience and established networks, our company is in the best position to help you find a homestay in any part of East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Southern Sudan), United States and Canada.
At Daima Tours and Travel, your safety comes first. That is why we thoroughly vet our host families and only work with reputable providers. We require host families to, at a minimum, provide you with lockable private room, have one adult who speaks and understands your language, and the home to have electricity and clean running water. As a courtesy, our representatives will call you within 48 hours after you arrive at your destination if you lease a cellphone from us.

Whether you find yourself teaching English in a school in East Africa, building a community center, or tending to village daily chores, one thing is certain: this overseas voluntary work experience will change your life. These are a transformative experience to remember and to grow on. All student exchange programs (for highschool and college students) are designed both for adventure and reflection. For students travelling to the United States and/or Canada, we will link you with a host family. Most host families induct you into American and Canadian way of life and help you navigate day to day activities.

B. Heritage and Executive Travellers
Besides helping you with a regular host family, Daima Tours and Travel offers you exclusive farm and ranch home stays in East Africa. Many of the ranch and farm homes often overlook unforgettable stunning scenery, in addition to the charming accommodation and warm hospitality; you are assured of first class and personal service throughout your stay in farms and ranches. Heritage and Executive homestays are suitable for researchers, anthropologists, individuals or families who claim ancestry in the region.

C. Honeymoon
Daima Tours and Travel also offers individuals, honeymooners, families and solo travelers who need complete exclusivity, comfort and freedom during their visit to East Africa, United States and Canada. We work with various ranches and farms across East Africa to provide you with exclusive accommodation. We also offer a variety of activities such as guided bush walks, bush breakfasts, picnic lunches, day and night game drives, horse riding, camel treks, fishing and boat rides, farm activities, and others. Every honeymoon package is unique, and we work with you to have the most memorable stay.

D. East Africa Homestay
An interesting and unique way to really get to know East Africa is by participating in a homestay program. Come stay with local families and get a taste of their true culture and lifestyle—from their working life to the things they do for fun. Each country in East Africa has its own charm and attraction. Some let you explore the wildlife, some have beautiful mountains, and some offer an opportunity to study historical sites. United States Homestay
United States Homestay is safe and affordable housing alternative for international students, interns, and young professionals coming to the U.S. temporarily or long term. For international students, homestay is an opportunity to live in a friendly home with an American family located near your school. You will be able to experience the American lifestyle and culture up close, and practice your English language skills, in the world's greatest classroom, the home. You will feel safe in a family environment, which is just like staying in a second home in the U.S. Even if you plan to stay in an apartment, we encourage you to choose homestay for the first several months. This time will allow you to become familiar with your area and have time to choose the right off-campus housing. You can stay a minimum of 4 weeks (except special group programs) or continue for as long as you like. For other travellers, we can tailor your US homestay to meet your needs.

Canada Homestay
Canada homestays provide international students and visitors with temporary accommodations where they live with a host family. You have a choice to pick Private or Shared Accommodations with Full meal or no meal packages. All our Canadian host families are very carefully selected with respect to safety of neighborhoods, proximity to public transportation and welcoming ability of the host family. Through our homestay program, lifetime friendships are being created all the time resulting in a greater mutual understanding and awareness of each others culture. Most hosts will provide airport pickup and consultation services to ease the transition into a new culture.

Alternative package
Sometimes, living with a host family is not apropriate or practical. Alternative package provides individuals, families and students with alternative accomondation where we provide you an opportunity to rent a private or shared apartments or suites in major urban centers across East Africa, USA or Canada for a short or long-term stay. Please contact our team to help you plan for an alternative accommondation package as you plan for your overseas travel.
